Superpower ChatGPT publishes a pricing table with two tiers, a feature page behind each allowance, and a billing agreement that carries the renewal and refund terms. That published material is the whole of the evidence behind this review. No copy of the extension was run for this piece, so the five scores below are editorial calls made against those pages, not measurements.

Conversation organization and cleanup

The core of the extension is the sidebar it augments. Conversations move into folders and subfolders, a batch of them can be selected and moved, archived or deleted together, and folders can carry a colour and an image so a long list stays scannable. The free tier holds five conversation folders, which is enough to separate three or four live projects from an archive and not enough for anyone filing by client. On Pro the count stops mattering and the rules that maintain the folders arrive: auto folders route a conversation into a folder because of the Custom GPT that produced it, and auto delete and auto archive apply a cleanup rule to older threads without anyone deciding case by case. 4.6 for the part of the extension that carries the most of the work and shows the fewest holes.

Prompt management

Prompts are the second half of the workspace, and they are kept as a library. History records what has already been sent, the manager edits and organises what is kept, and both are reachable without leaving the conversation. Chains run prompts in sequence so the output of one step feeds the next, the queue sends a set of messages one after another so a long routine does not need someone watching it, and instruction profiles switch a whole set of standing instructions, which is the cleanest way to keep client work and personal work from bleeding into each other. Where the free tier stops is at the count: five saved prompts, five prompt folders, two steps in a chain, five queued messages and two profiles. Held for Pro are the optimiser, the variables, the right-click menu that runs a saved prompt on another website, and prompt import and export. 4.6 for a library that covers the full loop from saving a prompt to running a chain of them, with the smallest of the free numbers attached to the part that is hardest to judge from the outside.

Conversation tree map and retrieval

A long thread branches, and the extension draws that branching. The tree map shows the shape of a conversation, the minimap keeps a smaller version beside the text, so a path abandoned two days ago can be found again instead of scrolled past. Search runs across the stored history, which is where this stops being a tidier sidebar and starts answering a question the chat window itself answers slowly. Pinned messages mark the turns worth returning to, and on Pro the retrieval layer deepens with notes attached to a conversation, global notes that stay available across the workspace, and reference chats that pull an older conversation in as context for the current one. The free tier is where the map thins: a tree map covers twenty messages per conversation, and pinned messages are described as limited without a number attached. 4.4 for the most distinctive layer here, with the free allowance on the map stopping short of the threads that need one.

Export and output formats

Export is built to the same depth as the rest of the product. On the free tier a single conversation leaves as PDF, Markdown, JSON or plain text, and Pro widens the same job to every chat, to a folder, or to a selection of messages, which is the difference between saving one answer and moving an archive. Print templates sit alongside for anyone who wants a conversation on paper. The media side belongs to the same part of the pricing table: an image gallery gathers generated images, uploads and charts together with their prompts and the conversations they came from, single images can be downloaded, and a floating player reads a whole conversation or one message with playback speed, skip controls, volume, a transcript, separate voices and message delays, with an MP3 download for anything worth keeping. JSON is the format worth pausing on, since it is the one that keeps a conversation machine-readable rather than turning it into a document, and it is already there on the free tier for a single chat. 4.5 for an export layer broader than a single-chat user is likely to need, with the widest part of it held for Pro.

Price and value

Free is $0 and described as free forever, with the caps above attached to it. Pro is $10 a month billed annually at $120 a year, or $15 month to month, and the yearly term is where the $60 saving comes from. The billing terms are worth reading beside the rate: the agreement renews itself for a further term of the same length, it states that no renewal notice is sent, cancellation is accepted only through the billing portal inside the app, and a fee already paid is not refunded, whether the cancellation lands mid-month or inside the EU withdrawal window. Pro also changes the Showcase arrangement, not just the tool list: a free seller publishes public galleries under the standard platform fee, a Pro seller keeps 80% of a sale and can publish unlisted galleries, and the vendor runs a 0% platform fee through 31 October 2026, after which the 20% rate applies. Three further things arrive with the tier: priority support through a private Discord, the audio and image tools, and whatever the product ships next, since the vendor lists future advanced features as part of the subscription with nothing sold on top. 4.0 for a low monthly rate against the time the automatic rules save, weighed against a set of terms that ask the buyer to carry the timing themselves.

Who Superpower ChatGPT is for

The extension suits a reader whose ChatGPT account has stopped being a chat window and started being a record of work. Three kinds of user get the most from it. A researcher, writer or analyst who returns to old threads is matched by search, the map and pinned messages together, because the question there is rarely how to write the next prompt and usually where an earlier answer went. Someone running the same routine weekly, a report, a set of client updates, a recurring brief, is the reader the chains and the queue are built for. A team working from one house style is matched by instruction profiles and, on Pro, by reference chats, since both exist to keep a standard instruction set from being retyped or forgotten. A team taking that route should settle the licence first: it is granted for personal, noncommercial use, so a shared or client-facing setup is a question to put to the vendor before standardising on it. It is the wrong purchase for a reader who wants better answers from the model itself, because nothing here changes what ChatGPT says, only how the work around it is held. It also asks to be used regularly: someone who opens ChatGPT a few times a month gets a better-ordered account from the free tier and has little reason to pay for rules that need a backlog of chats to act on.
